Is your workplace equipped to support those who may have experienced trauma?

Whether you're a sports team, religious group, youth club or 3rd sector organisation, in today's world, understanding and responding to trauma in CYP is more critical than ever. Trauma can impact anyone, and its effects can manifest in various ways.

We're offering FREE trauma-informed training to workplaces and organisations across Cwm Taf Morgannwg.

What will you gain?

  • Increased Awareness: Learn about the different types of trauma and their potential impact on CYP.
  • Improved Understanding: Develop empathy and understanding towards CYP who may be experiencing trauma-related challenges.
  • Practical Skills: Gain actionable strategies for creating a supportive and trauma-informed workplace environment.
  • Enhanced Communication: Learn how to communicate effectively and sensitively with CYP who may have experienced trauma.
  • Boosted Well-being: Foster a culture of safety and support, including how to look after your own wellbeing as staff.

This training is perfect for:

  • Anyone who wants to create a more compassionate and supportive workplace.
  • Those who support children and young people, adults, or fellow staff.
  • Staff at risk of vicarious trauma through their everyday role.
