Tennis at Lymm RFC's four "state of the art" all-weather, floodlit courts located at Beechwood, Crouchley Lane, LymmRoad courts. Social tennis sessions: Saturday 1:30–4pm, Sunday 10am–12pm, Monday lunchtime 1–3pm (beginners and improvers), Monday evening 4:30–6:30pm. Walking Tennis: Thursdays 12:30–2:30pm (non-members welcome, £4). Pay-and-play £8/hr. Adult and junior coaching also available.
Walking tennis is a slower paced version of the game designed to be fun, social and accessible to all. It's ideal for beginners, those returning from injury or anyone who would like a bit more time to get to the ball! Players can let the ball bounce twice, softer balls are used and there's no running - making it easier to enjoy tennis at your own pace.
Sessions take place in a friendly, welcoming environment, with refreshments afterwards. All are welcome. Non-members can participate for a small fee (cash accepted on the day). No booking required - just turn up and play on the day.
